Two woman injured in Highway 22 crash

(Mankato, MN) – Two women were injured in a crash in Le Sueur County yesterday afternoon.

Seventy-year-old Ginger Lea McCollum of Janesville was turning left from the southbound lane of Highway 22 onto County Road 2 in Kasota Township.  The Buick Lucerne she was driving then collided with a Buick LaSabre that was northbound on Highway 22.

The LeSabre was driven by 62-year-old Jennifer Linn Thiese of St. Peter.

Both women received non-life threatening injuries in the crash, which happened just before 2:30 p.m.  McCollum was transported to Mayo Clinic Mankato.  Thiesse didn’t seek treatment.
