Unbelted Olivia woman suffers injuries in single vehicle rollover

(Mankato, MN) –  The Minnesota State Patrol says an Olivia woman injured in a crash Wednesday morning wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

Twenty-six-year-old Kassandra Jean Ervin was eastbound on Highway 212 just west of Bird Island at 7:38 a.m. when she lost control of the 2015 Ford Fusion she was driving, crossed the westbound lane of the highway, and rolled into the north ditch.

Ervin received non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to a St. Cloud hospital for treatment.

Bird Island Fire and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
