UPDATE: St. Peter woman seriously injured when tractor falls off trailer in Nicollet County

(St. Peter, MN) – A St. Peter woman was seriously injured Sunday evening when a tractor fell off a trailer in Nicollet County.

The Nicollet County Sheriff’s office says Lisa Joosten, 38, suffered serious injuries in the accident, which happened just before 7 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 99 and 417th Avenue at a field approach

According to a release from the sheriff’s office, a tractor was being loaded onto a gooseneck trailer when it fell off, injuring Joosten, who was inside the cab.  Joosten was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
