Vandalism could permanently shut down park bathroom, say Le Center Police

Vandalism at North Park in Le Center could lead to bathrooms being permanently locked.

Police say vandalism at the park has been a continued issue.

“If this does not stop, the bathrooms will be permanently locked and nobody will be able to use them,” a Tuesday morning Facebook post from the police department said.

Investigators say anyone found vandalizing city property will face criminal charges and be trespassed from the park.

Anyone with information on the vandals should contact police.
