Walz visits Mankato to talk bonding bill

Governor Tim Walz was in Mankato yesterday to advocate for the state’s bonding bill, which includes funding to replace MSU’s aging Armstrong Hall.

The governor, along with university President Edward Inch, faculty, and students toured the building, which is one of the oldest on campus.

The $8.4 million project would include the complete demolition and replacement of the building, which is roughly 60 years old.
