Waseca County Commissioner Blair Nelson has died

Waseca County Commissioner Blair Nelson has died.

Nelson was remembered by the Waseca County Sheriff’s Office as a “kind-hearted man who devoted his time and energy to make Waseca County a great community to work and live in.”

The Waseca Chamber of Commerce says Nelson was “a man that has always shown up for his community.”

The Waseca County Pioneer reports that Nelson died of a sudden heart attack on Tuesday night.  Nelson was 65 years old and the father of three grown children.  He’s served as a Waseca County commissioner since 2011.
