Waseca Police to wear body cameras starting in August

The Waseca Police Department will begin wearing body cameras next month. 

The city is asking residents to provide input on the cameras because a policy needs to be drafted before the cameras are implemented. 

Comments can be made at Tuesday’s Waseca City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m.  Comments can also be submitted by emailing Capt Kris Markeson, or by phone at (507) 835-9735.

Community members can provide input through Friday.
