Update: I-90 fatal crash victim identified as Windom man

A man who died in a single-vehicle crash on I-90 at Blue Earth has been identified.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Jason Thomas Harnack, 42, of Windom died at the scene of the crash on I-90, just east of Highway 169.

The crash report says Harnack was driving a 2015 Chevy Camaro that was westbound when it left the freeway and rolled multiple times in the north ditch.

Harnack was not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.  It’s not known whether alcohol played a role in the crash.

Roads were snow and ice-covered at the time of the crash, according to the state patrol.

The patrol report lists the crash time as 4:04 p.m.
