Woman found with life-threatening stab wounds in vehicle involved in Mankato police pursuit

A woman was found stabbed and critically injured in a vehicle involved in a police pursuit Tuesday.
Mankato Public Safety responded to a report of an erratic driver on the west side of the city at about 1:30 p.m.
A pursuit ensued until the driver turned on a dead-end road and the officer used his squad to crash and end the pursuit.
Inside the vehicle, police discovered a female passenger who had been stabbed multiple times. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the woman suffered life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition.
A knife was located at the scene where the vehicle crashed.
The BCA is investigating the incident.
