(Minneapolis, MN) – The record low for a Twins baseball home opener was set in 1962 at 35 degrees.

Twins fans likely will feel temps hover just above that record, but the National Weather Service also forecasts a 40% chance of snow.

105.5 The River’s Greg Travis of the Breakfast Club is attending the game, and took the photos displayed.  At 1 hour and 5 minutes prior to the opening pitch, he claims the temperature is “super doable.”

We’ve asked him to report back during the 7th inning stretch.  We’re certain he will – if his fingers are still functioning.
