Update: Waseca man injured in double-fatal collision in Kandiyohi County

A Waseca man was involved in a double-fatal crash in Kandiyohi County Tuesday evening.

The crash happened at about 7 p.m. in Pennock, which is west of Willmar.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Douglas Claire Robinson, 45, of Waseca was eastbound in a Jeep Wrangler on Highway 12 when the SUV collided with a westbound Ford Explorer,  driven by 69-year-old Joyce Larayne Nokleby.

Nokleby and her passenger, Llewellyn Reynold Nokleby, 83, both from Benson, were fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Robinson was transported to a St. Cloud hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash report says alcohol was not a factor in the crash and everyone involved was wearing seat belts.
