Semi overturns near Arlington

A semi tractor-trailer overturned south of Arlington Wednesday morning in foggy conditions.

The incident happened at about 7:10 a.m. on 391st Ave and 260th St.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office says the semi driver, Travis Grubb, 28, of New Ulm, was attempting to turn his semi from 391st onto 260th St, when he misjudged the turn due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

The rear wheels of the trailer slid into the ditch on 260th St, causing the rig to roll onto its side, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

Grubb was not injured.
