Blue Earth, Cottonwood counties each report COVID-19 death

Blue Earth and Cottonwood counties each reported a COVID-19 death Wednesday, according to the Minnesota Department of Health’s latest data.

A person in their 80’s died in Blue Earth County, the thirty-third COVID death in the county.

Cottonwood County recorded its eighteenth death, a person in their 90’s.

There were 50 deaths statewide, bringing the total of pandemic deaths to 7,774.
