Blue Earth County resident among weekend COVID deaths

A Blue Earth County resident in their early 60’s was among the 14 new deaths reported by state health officials over the weekend.
It’s the 44th death of the pandemic in Blue Earth County, where 61% of people ages 16 and older have received at least one vaccine dose, according to data released Friday.
MDH reported 246 new infections over Saturday and Sunday.
