Christmas tree recycling available in Mankato

Mankato residents can recycle their live Christmas trees as the holidays come to end.

Drop-off sites include ISG Field, Highland Park, Sibley Park, and Tourtellotte Park. Residents can also drop off trees at the Minnesota Paving and Materials compost site.  Trees will be turned into mulch for local parks. 

Trees should have all decorations and lights removed before recycling. The service will be available until mid-January.
