COVID 19 Monday: 19 deaths, 3,930 new cases

State health officials reported 19 COVID-19 deaths Monday, and 3,930 new virus cases.

There were 14 counties reporting deaths, according to MDH.  Fourteen of those who died were residents of long-term care, and five were from a private residence.  The latest deaths bring Minnesota’s total to 2,675.

During the seven-day period between Nov 1 to Nov 8, there were 1,053 hospitalizations statewide, including 193 patients admitted to intensive care.
