DQ Wells employees fired for decorating cake with racist message

Two employees at the Wells Dairy Queen were fired for decorating a cake with a racist message referencing slavery.

The cake reads: “If I was Black I’d be picking cotton. But I’m white so I’m picking you for prom?”

DQ Wells management said in a statement that they do not tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind.
