Driver misses stop sign in Renville County, 2 hospitalized following weekend crash
(Olivia, MN) – Two people were hospitalized following a weekend crash in Renville County in which one of the drivers missed a stop sign.
According to the Renville County Sheriff’s office, 24-year-old Dinny Yang of Walnut Grove was eastbound on County Road 17 on Janaury 19 when he failed to stop at the posted sign at the intersection of the road with County Road 6.
The 1996 Toyota 4-Runner Yang was driving collided with a 2016 Hyundai Accent that had been southbound on County Road 6. The Hyundai was driven by 63-year-old Kathleen Zaske of Renville.
Yang and Zaske were both transported to Renville County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash was reported at 10:30 a.m.
