Former Minnesota House candidate files to run against North Mankato Mayor Dehen

(North Mankato, MN) – A former Minnesota House candidate has filed to run for mayor of North Mankato.
Kim Spears, who lost a bid to represent District 19A as a state representative in 2018, will challenge longtime Mayor Mark Dehen. Dehen is running for his sixth two-year term.
Spears is also a former North Mankato council member who served one term that began in 2012.
