It’s Take a Kid Ice Fishing weekend in Minnesota.
Saturday, January 14 through Monday, January 15, any Minnesota resident can fish free if ice fishing with a child age 15 or younger.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a Learn to Ice Fish page with a recorded webinar, tips, and techniques for those new to the sport.
