Highway 15 north of Madelia reduced to one lane for resurfacing

Starting today, Highway 15 north of Madelia will be reduced to one lane as crews begin resurfacing the highway.

Approximately five miles will be resurfaced from the Highway 15/Highway 60 interchange to the Brown/Watonwan County line. Motorists could see delays and can expect to encounter lane closures, flaggers, and pilot cars until the work is completed in early October.

Project work also includes culvert repairs, installing snow fencing along Highway 15 near Co Rd 3, installation of lighting at Co Rd 58 and Co Rd 6 intersections, and updating the bridges at Highway 15/60 and over the railroad.
