Mankato area women raise record amount at Women with Heart luncheon
(Mankato, MN) – Mankato area woman opened their hearts and their wallets at a recent event to support the Greater Mankato Area United Way.
The nonprofit’s 10th annual Women with Heart luncheon brought in over $175,000 in pledges towards its 2020 campaign, an increase of more than $30,000 in pledges from the previous year – which was also a record.
Nearly 700 women attended the August 7th event at the Mankato Civic Center.
The Greater Mankato United Way’s 2020 campaign goal is $2,060,000.
“Women in our region continue to step up to the challenge and are truly making a difference with their support.”
