Mankato, New Ulm Hy-Vee locations giving away free peaches

(Mankato, MN) – Peaches for me, peaches for free.
Hy-Vee stores in Mankato and New Ulm will give away more than 11,500 peaches to customers during a contact-free, drive-though event on Thursday, June 18. The giveaways at the Hilltop, Riverfront, and New Ulm locations will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until noon, or while supplies last.
The giveaway is in partnership with Hy-Vee supplier SunWest Fruit Company. The two companies are teaming up to donate fresh produce to Hy-Vee customers impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
At the Mankato stores, the first 480 customers will receive one dozen free peaches.
In New Ulm, the first 280 customers will receive 20 fresh peaches.
