Mankato Public School Board approves learning model

The Mankato School Board unanimously approved a learning model plan Monday night during the first board meeting of 2021.
Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grades will return to the hybrid learning model on Jan 19.
A return to in-person or hybrid learning for middle and high school students will depend upon the county case rates.
All grade levels resumed distance learning Monday following the holiday break.
There will be no school on Jan 14 & 15 for elementary students to prepare for the learning model transition. Schools are closed Jan 18 in observation of Martin Luther King Jr day.
