Private job sector recovers from COVID-19 pandemic, says DEED

Minnesota has completely recovered the private sector jobs it lost during the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to data released yesterday by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.

Employers in the Greater Mankato area added 1,786 jobs, an 3.2% increase from last year, according to DEED. 

Minnesota saw strong job growth in construction, services, and manufacturing.
