Traffic delays expected during gas line installation in North Mankato

Motorists can anticipate delays during the installation of a new natural gas distribution main in North Mankato.

CentralPoint Energy will be installing the main at the corner of Lee Blvd and Belgrade Ave.  Drivers should anticipate lane restrictions at that intersection while work takes place.

The project is expected to take two to three weeks.

The intersection of Nicollet and Belgrade will be closed for one to two weeks during construction, according to a press release from the city.
