Two injured when semis collide in Cottonwood County

(Mankato, MN) – Two men were injured following a crash between two semis in Cottonwood County Thursday.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the crash happened at 3:47 p.m. when a Load semi that was turning onto County Rd 1 from eastbound Highway 60 and a Mack semi that was westbound on Highway 60 collided at the intersection.

The Load semi was driven by Jason Scott Kuelbs, 32, of Sleepy Eye.  The Mack semi was driven by William Wassenaar, 57, of Slayton.

Both men were transported to St. James Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
