Victim, driver of Riverfront pedestrian crash identified

The victim and the driver in a pedestrian crash on Riverfront Dr Tuesday night have been identified.
The victim was Christopher W. Burke, 73, of Mankato. He was transported to Mayo Clinic Mankato with undetermined injuries. His condition is still unknown.
Mykel A. Hubbard, 28, of Mankato, was named as the driver who struck Burke in the southbound lanes of Riverfront Dr.
Mankato police and fire responded at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a personal injury crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Riverfront Dr was closed Tuesday for an hour for a crash reconstruction investigation and again for a short time on Wednesday morning.
The incident remains under investigation.
