Woman injured in Mankato traffic light pole crash

The state patrol says alcohol was a factor when a young woman crashed her SUV into a traffic light pole Friday night shortly after 8 p.m.
Kiana Elizabeth Samora, 21, of Mankato, was southbound on Highway 22 when her Mazda CX-3 crashed into a semaphore pole at Hoffmann Rd, according to a crash report.
Samora was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System with non-life-threatening injuries.
The state patrol says alcohol was detected in her system.
