Wounded juvenile discovered after report of “multiple gunshots” on Monks Ave

An investigation is underway after Mankato police responded to a weapons complaint and a wounded juvenile was discovered.
Mankato Public Safety responded at 12:22 a.m. Thursday to a complaint of multiple gunshots on the 1800 block of Monks Ave.
“While responding to the complaint, officers received information that a possible victim was at a location on the 100 block of Tennyson Dr,” says a press release from public safety. Officers found a juvenile victim with a non-fatal gunshot injury to the hand when they arrived, according to the release.
