Former Waseca County Sheriff Milbrath announces run for county commissioner

Retired Waseca County Sheriff Brad Milbrath will run for county commissioner in an upcoming special election. 

Milbrath cited his extensive knowledge of county operations, including his 24 years with the sheriff’s department when he announced his run. 

The District 3 seat he’s running for was left vacant when Waseca County Commissioner Blair Nelson suffered a fatal heart attack in May.  Milbrath retired last year.
